My NASCAR friends scoff when I remind them that real race cars don't have fenders. Allan Brewer at FastMachines.com understands exactly what I'm talking about and he's got a piece-of-my-mind sound-off about the glories of Indy, too. Depend on Grant's Auto Rants to find something obscure like Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and turn it into a genuinely fascinating blog post. Having TPMS in every new car and truck sold would do more to ease the energy crisis than anything Congress might do with CAFE.
