The Coke 600 was really an interesting race, in terms of the finishing orders. For once a Hendrick car other than the #24 or #48 wins a race. And a Toyota finishes in the top 5, and leads 76 laps more than Toyotas all season! Kyle Petty finishes in the top 10 for the first time in 10 years! JJ Yeley and Reed Sorenson have their top finish of the season, and Casey Mears, the weakest Hendrick car wins!
And for the first time, Jeff Gordon failed to finish a race, and Jimmie Johnson did very poorly compared to previous years.
It was really an underdog race, hopefully we'll see a few more this season. For Casey Mears to win his first race, in NASCAR's longest race is truly something.
