The Renault-Samsung QMX was just introduced at the Seoul Auto Show. It's a small SUV, powered by a Renault 1.7 turbo-diesel engine putting out 177 hp. Not sure if that's a misprint, as it seems to be a lot for such a small (turbo-diesel) engine.

Says it's a 2.0 L turbo diesel, which sounds right.
That Jalopnik post is by someone who just started learning about cars. 5,769 lb-ft he typed. Right.

I think the torque specs were tongue-in-cheek, due to the high torque specs listed for many diesels nowadays.
Any how, I wonder if that is based on the Nissan Rogue? And if so, will we see a diesel in the US for that model?
