Someone photoshop some devil horns on that photo.

Good god here we go again any of you GM people remember kerkorians scheme to shake up the GM board back in 05-06 with that Nissan and renault alliance? This guy will be bad news If he buys chrysler. Neil cavuto on Fox news called this guy one of the greatest investors on the planet. No he's not this guy will drive chrysler in the ground with no hope of recovery. And I agree someone should photoshop some devil horns on that photo it would complement it nicely.

If Kerkorian went in with the UAW and bought Chrysler, and the company went under, would that take the UAW with it? Something to think about.

Maybe Kerkorian can do what no other auto maker has been able to do. Take down the UAW. I also thought Chrysler was valued at more than 4.5 billion.

I love the line in the article over on the news section about Chrysler being valued between "nothing and roughly $13 billion". It's a fair offer if you consider that Chrysler could be worth a penny or less.

It's too bad Kerkorian didn't get a chance to take over GM. But it seems GM is doing fine without his investment or ownership. I'm all for him buying Chrysler. It might teach the UAW a thing or two in the long run. But I really doubt DCX will jump on a number that "low"... but the $100 mil up front isn't a bad gesture.

I haven't heard about Jerome York in quite a while. Honestly, I think he'd be a valuable asset for Chrysler. Of course Kerkorian is a different story. But while Kirk is not a good manager, his mere presence sure motivates leadership to get things done. Who knows.
