Big news from Kia today was limited to a production announcement for the 2009 Kia Soul crossover. Kia first unveiled the concept at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show in silver paint, and it showed up in New York dressed in Storm Trooper white.
Still no full spec list available, although Kia has confirmed it'll be front-wheel drive with a 2.0-liter inline-4 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the five-passenger Soul gets a standard list of amenities and flat-folding rear seats to maximize cargo volume...
