Jeep will use the New York Auto Show to introduce the 2008 Grand Cherokee. The new GC gets a more Jeep-like looking facelift, which in my opinion, it needed. You can also order self-leveling HID headlamps as well as the 20 GB MyGIG entertainment system. Probably the biggest news is that that the 4.7L V8 is all new, as it now comes with two spark plugs per cylinder...

Looks like the old one to me. Taller grille is about all I can see.

Those headlights look like the HIDs on the Chrysler 300

Nice Job! I have always liked the Grand Cherokee, it is about time Chrysler introduced more projector headlights/HIDs.

Yeah, I don't see much difference either. Maybe the rear haunches are a little wider?
As for the engine, the Limited had 235hp/300tq while the Overland had 335hp/375tq. I assume that engine (291/322) is the new Limited?
The article states that this engine will slot just below the HEMI, so will the Overland get scrapped?
This is a huge jump for the Limited, but it would be a sore disappointment for Overland buyers.

That's pretty cool that the lower bumper/air dam comes off. Great feature to keep the Jeep faithful...faithful. Lots of decent powertrains to choose from too!

Hmm it looks exactly the same except for the taller grille. But its nice to know that Jeep made powertrain upgrades and added HID headlamps and the mygig system is a plus
