FV Report: 2008 Ford Freestyle facelift

The facelifts at Ford just keep on coming. Our latest spy photos reveal the 2008 Ford Freestyle complete with an updated front fascia and revised rear end. And to no one's surprise it looks just like the Five Hundred thanks to a three bar grille and aftermarket style taillights. We expect it will get the same 3.5-liter V6 as the Five Hundred as well, a sorely needed upgrade for the three-row Freestyle...
Don't be surprised to see the production version show up at the 2007 Chicago auto show next week.

Yawn on the exterior but the powertrain is a improvment who knows they might actually get around to facelifting the ranger

Yeah its a bland vehicle, but its not ugly IMO, I thinks its rather good looking, again, nothing to get hyped up about, but its nice

I know the restyling is meant to "bring it into the family", but I actually preferred the current (original?) styling, at least on the FreeStyle. The drivetrain upgrade is definitely needed though!

Face lifting the Ranger? Its had more facelifts than Joan Rivers already. Isnt that thing like 15 years old?

This thing is just plain awkward and un-stylish regardless of new fascia. The profile is atrocious. Bleh.
