Racecar spelled backwards is racecar. And there are a lot of racecars on the floor of the Detroit Auto Show, one is even hung on the wall. We've already showed you the Dodge's Avenger stock car that will go NASCAR racin' later this year. But here are a few more including the Le Mans winning Audi R10 TDI, a Subaru World Rally car and the championship winning Porsche RS Spyder...
Our favorite, however, is the Mitsubishi Lancer East African Safari Rally entry, displayed as it competed in 1974. Oddly there are no track cars in the GM or Ford displays.

Wow! The Subaru Impreza WRC rally car already has BFGoodrich tires and decals even though the team hasn't even raced on them yet!

Sometimes I think Acura wants to be Audi (sigh). The simularities are certainly their. SH-AWD/Quattro, FWD based vehicles, Audi has the new AWD supercar and Acura will have a AWD supercar soon, both leaders in technology....... Acura be like Audi in only one way..".NEVER FOLLOW".
