It's not glaring but Lincoln pointed out that the MKR's twin grille hints at that of a '41 Lincoln Continental. The MKR bears virtually no resemblance to any current Lincoln and we mean that in a good way, well, good for the MKR that is. Sleeker, sportier and ultimately fresher than any Lincoln to come along in quite some time we hope the MKR will light the way for the look of future Lincolns.
True, the MKR's see through roof won't exactly show up on a production car but it sure does look cool...
The MKR's twin force V6 is E85 capable and is the one feature of the concept that's grounded in reality. Lincoln says a production version of this engine will power upcoming Ford and Lincoln products - no mention of Mercury. Hmmmm. - Brian Moody

Ive never really cared for Ford products other than the Harley Davidson edition F150-F250 and the Ford GT but this MK is beautiful. Take that Cadillac!

Rework the grill and you have the best looking sedan on the market

mrjones944,
In case you forgot, it is not on the market. If Ford does as usual it won't be on the market. So it really does not matter how good it looks if Ford does not sell it.

So Lincoln's flagship car will have this engine.
Lincoln's flagship car is a sports car, like Lexus's to-be flagship and Acura's flagship?
The MKR is smaller than a midsized sedan.

If Lincoln brings design cues from this car, it could really sell. The design from this is expected to make it production, along with engine. Winning combination.

It seems that for Lincoln, it boils down to this: Build this car or fold right now.
