Looking virtually identical to the Roller 100EX concept shown on last year's show circuit, this new production-ready Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe will be introduced at the Detroit auto show.
I gotta admit, in a market niche where "image is everything," nobody does it better than Rolls-Royce. As great as the Maybach may be, it's strictly minor league in the head-turning department, when compared to the new Phantom or this new Rolls ragtop.

what can possibly beat a phantom 4 door how about this stunning convertible. This is a beauty as it is but chop the roof off, and the wow factor goes way up. Hopefully the supension has been tuned to off set some of the Rolls weight and to provide the driver with a more sporty feel

....R-R finally built the convertible they've teased us with for so long. The designers, Mr. Cameron and Mr. Djordjevic should be pleased. The 'DHC' captures the essence of the P-II Henley Roadster, even though Mr. Djordjevic toured Jay Leno's garage replete with Duesenberg's and the occassional Rolls-Royce for inspiration. Bets are that Goodwood will have a long order list. They won't have to advertise it, but if they did, they'd have to rewrite the famous ad from the 1920's---'Somewhere West of Laramie' , but this time they have to call it: 'Somewhere West of London-Town'....
