FINALLY!!! A competent Lincoln engine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be just as powerful in the production version and the vehicle will be light enough to compete with some European options. Lincoln is really going out there with the styling on this vehicle. While the production one will be somewhat tamer. Hopefully the transmission options on this vehicle will be up to snuff and the last few transmissions have been pretty soft, at least according to Edmund. Btw this vehicle also gives me some hope that there will be a stronger engine option in the MKS other than the 3.7 they've announced. I don't think .2 liters of dispersement is going to separate Lincoln from Ford.

about time Lincoln got the engine right now only if they put this engine in a production car. Personally I think nearly all the lincoln line up is grossly underpowered If you don't belive me look ath the navigators 300 hp versus a 403 hp caddie motor. the styling of this car is good too just ignore the weird seats in the interior and focus on the athletic and elegant lines in this car

I love this car. Makes me forget about the Continental concept , the NaviCross, etc. This one is hot. Just what Lincoln needs, Make the MKS into a Mercury now, as it should be. Or kill it.

Yes, the 2-piece grille strongly "hints" of the 1940-1941 Lincoln Continental.http://www.hubcapcafe.com/ocs/pages01/linc4101.htm
Nice take on the old "Hot Rod" Lincoln theme. I think this could be a good route for Lincoln to follow, in terms of reestablishing a visual link to their past. I can't think of a better model to emulate than this old Continental.

The rear end looks truncated. Dunno if that's just an effect of the photo or not. Nice looking car.
I'm glad to see RWD is catching on, even if the result is a "bowling alley" interior.

For me,The interior, very clean, reminds me of designs I saw in the "50's. Outside, also very clean and integrated, there are some nice curves and the grille seems to speak "Thunderbird" totem (for Lincoln?), et all.
But sadly, once again, gun slit windows, huge wheels, rubber band tires.
Are those things mandentory for show cars these days?

I like the bowling alley interior. Much easier to pass the macdonalds to the people in back. Wish ford would add a clean diesel engine to the production car.

I learned to drive in a 1939 Lincoln Zephur and continued to drive it thru 1946. I loved the front end, never saw any thing that I liked more. The moment I saw the MKR I recognized it as a Lincoln. Just hope they didn't make a mess of the rear end. I'll take one.
