As I had reported a few weeks ago, Subaru debuted a 2007.5 model called the Forester Sports 2.5 XT at SEMA. It's basically a slightly de-contented Forester turbo, but with some snazzy new clothes. Subaru merely reached into their JDM parts bin and slapped on the grille and bumper from their home-market Forester STI; and deleted the roof rack cross bars, heated outside mirrors windshield deicer and leather seats. I hope Subaru reaches deeper into their JDM parts bin for future revisions and adds the Cross Sports or STi suspension and more transmission offerings!

The Forester is nice, but I thought the best car at the Subaru booth was the Legacy Wagon Grand Am car.
