Sharing the stage with the Step Bus and Remix concepts was Honda's fuel cell-powered FCX Concept. Compared to those concepts, the FCX Concept is less of a concept and more of a reality, as it will roll into select US dealerships in 2008.
Its styling is equal parts futuristic and frumpy depending on the viewing angle, but there's no denying the progressive nature of the FCX Concept--hydrogen goes in, motivation and water vapor come out.

I wonder if the weird look will help it, like it helped the Prius stand out, or hurt it. This is a bit much for most people.
In a weird way I actually like it, though.

I think it's gorgeous and a formidable design direction for Honda. While many people feel Honda doesn't really have a design trademark, this would provide some backbone for Honda's design theme.

This car looks a bit odd in pics but from what I hear its stricking in person. It also has quite a bit of room inside and looks to be on the high end side of "earth consious" vehicles. I wonder what it will cost? With the success of Toyotas Prius Honda could easily have the same success with the FCX.

I really like this car. It looks great, and the hydrogen powertrain has decent range.

It's hot except for the front grill and that layered V design Honda seems to be in love with. Also, I dislike that rear trunk area being less wide than the flaring rear tire fender areas. Otherwise it's very sweet.
