Well, here they are, the first undisguised photos of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It looks as though these shots were taken in some sort of processing facility in Europe given the diesel engine badges, but we weren't given any info regarding their origin. Our C-Class sedan will likely get the 3.5-liter V6 used in most of Mercedes mid-level models along with the 7G-Tronic automatic. Expect to see the official unveil of this new sedan at the Geneva auto show early next year.

Looks like a pretty small trunk.

I like it. Most last gen cars have trunks that are too big, and too small backseats.

The Civic had that dolphin-like profile first =].

Eh.. s'okay. The rear profile reminds me strongly of some Nissan Altimas, just with different taillights. I guess some really like it that way. Me? Not so much.

I like it. Reminds me of the last gen A4, but pulled back a bit. Very handsome.
I also like the size of that glass roof, must be like the old Coupe model's. Big thumbs up.

I'm not sure why, but the top picture looks like a first gen prius.

I like it - especially the character line on the side. I don't like the taillights, though. They're kind of droopy - even gay (I'm a homo so I can say that). But yeah, they aren't as Mercedesesque as I'd like. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist? I fear mistaking it for some low-brow Kia or other Asian product until I'm close enough to distinguish this new C.

I like how it has some of the design elements of the S-class and CLS-class. One regret is that it seems to have lost its sport-appeal.

From these photos I like my best friends 2005 C230 Kompressor Sport 6 speed better.
