I'm suprised Hyundai hasn't announced intentions to join Nascar, especially given it's "American pride."

F1 Racing will contribute greatly to Hyundai, which has no racing experience (that I know of). Could we start seeing a Hyundai sports car in the future? HyundaiSpeed?

Re-entering the WRC would is great idea for Hyundai. They had some successful times with their old Tiburons and Elantras. This will give them some more clout with those young street racers.

The best news is that their engines will cost 40% less than every competitor and they will carry a 10 year warranty. ;-)

another great move by hyundai!
however, they should start in 2009 when they have the f1 race in korea.

as of wrc, hyundai is probably waiting on the new elantra hatchack or the arnejs to be released.

another thing that hyundai has on their timetable is a possible luxury brand like lexus if the new equus, veracruz and dynasty models get the attention neededfrom the public.
