The facelifted
2007 VW Touareg
will debut at the Paris auto show. As can be seen here, it picks up the styling cues found on VW's latest cars, with a heavy emphasis on the grille area. The headlights have also been tweaked, as have the taillights. In Europe a new 3.6L V6 is already in use...
Expect to see that engine replace the smaller 3.2L engine currently being used here. To me that's the most important news for North Americans, as the smaller V6 was rather taxed moving such a heavy SUV. I still wish we would get the 3.0L turbo diesel sold in Europe, however.

Looks better. The front has some character now. Before it was just a "blob".
Gotta agree about the engine. It might actually hurt V8 sales now that it has a good enough V6.

That may be the only new VW that actually looks good with the new chrome grill. I'm getting used to it on the cars, but it still seems odd. Either I'm over it, or it really does work on an SUV.

I think this is a great improvement over the current ones styling this has more character...I like it alot. It looks more agressive now...love the new grill and headlamps!!
