Chevy Sequel concept

The new hydrogen-powered Chevy Sequel concept (top) is the "sequel" to the GM Sequel concept (above) that was shown at the 2005 Detroit  auto show.

Technology aside, I think this is a pretty sharp looking vehicle, and is right in line with the new refined look of Chevy's new products.

Snippet:  Compared to other fuel cell vehicles, Sequel has an unprecedented range of 300 miles between fill-ups and spirited acceleration, attaining 60 mph in just 10 seconds. Sequel also has all the amenities one would expect in a premium, five-passenger crossover SUV, including impressive styling, a spacious interior and an all-aluminum body and structure designed to meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards...
It has a low-profile, skateboard-like chassis that houses all of its main propulsion, braking and chassis components.

Looks a tad better, the concept looked like a Schick Quattro shaver.

The problem is not Hydrogen-powered. The problem is Big Oil are unbelievers. They claim retooling to produce Hydrogen is too costly. Big Oil and Trucking companies don't like the high cost investment in high pressure tank transport. Their gas station owners/operators are not anxious to install the high pressure systems to be the suppliers. In fact the last time I researched 3 months ago, there were none (that's 0)in all of Maryland. You can't sell, buy or drive what you can't refuel.
