2007 Honda CRV

The all-new CRV is probably one of this year's worst kept automotive secrets, thanks to various sources that violated the news embargo on this vehicle. Oh well, such is life in the "news scoop" business...

At any rate, here's the "official" news, straight from Honda's media site on the new CRV. There are links to images, specs, and everything you ever wanted to know about this vehicle here ...

I bet it looks really good in the flesh. Photos can fool you.

The shape is okay (although I wonder about rear visability), but I don't like the front - it's too busy.

Most people don't like the design now, but I'm sure it will grow on many of us.

Good call Blaze- I'm already warming to it. Look at it like this, folks: the CR-V's always been weird. All things considered, this one's actually an improvement on the previous design, even it if it is...weird.

That design wont grow on me. I know an ugly car when i see one and this is definitly ugly

Let's just call this a mini version of the Acura RDX without the 'getup and go'.

Oh My Goodness! Can you say "KIA Sorento"??? If this is the best that honda can do for the CRV

as I was saying.....then the CRV is doomed. It's like the half baked "ending"/back end of the accord...incomplete thinking and engineering design. The CRV will be confused with the kia sorento and cause big disappointment to honda lovers.

I can't wait to see it. I am so glad the back tire is gone and they have decided to go with a lift hatch instead of the side opening. Who cares what it looks like in the front? It's new virtues way outweigh the bad.

I just bought this car in November 2006. It is much better without the tire in the back and the inside is very nice. Someone hit me in my 1988 Honda Accord and the car was totaled. This new CRV looks much nicer in the front than the newer 2006/2007 Honda Accords. I love the car so far and it is getting about 21 mpg in the city. Cars are so different looking now anyway. I'm 6 feet 2 inches and this car fits me well. I like the looks of the new 2007 CRV; the black protective molding that goes all around the car is a plus. Everyone at my place of employment likes it!
