Nifty old Japanese Isuzu commercials

Thanks to Edmunds.com forum moderator Steve, here are some pretty cool, and Busby Berkeley-like highly choreographed 1980s Isuzu commercials from Japan.

Maybe if Isuzu USA used this sort of marketing, they'd be better off than they currently are?

That was neat. Fun.

I can't recall any Isuzu I-Mark commercials, and I would have at least remembered these. They also cloned these as Chevy Spectrums, my best friend had one and I rode in it all the time.

It was a bit of a tin can, though. Not sure the ads would have helped much. And even the turbo models didn't perform all that well.

The styling was also a bit too boxy.

I would like to know how many cars were destroyed filming that. Looks like Saab's performance team at work. My favorite part is driving on two wheels. I do that on the way to work to save gas, less rolling resistance to overcome, i find about a 5% increase in fuel economy when driving on two wheels. I don't save any money though because every so often I have to call a tow truck to get my car back on to 4 wheels. But it does help us be less dependent on foriegn oil.
