Jeep is recalling 832,000 Liberty SUVs because of potential ball joint problems
, which could lead to loss of steering control. The recall involves 2002â2006 models. This is not the first time the Liberty has had ball joint problems, as there was another recall back in 2003. He said in many of the complaints, the ball joint failed, dropping the vehicle's front end onto one or both of the front tires.
