No big surprises here as Suzuki is looking to further revamp its small car lineup with an SX4 sedan to replace the Aerio. The 2007 Suzuki SX4 hatchback goes on sale in September, and with 143 horsepower and standard all wheel drive, it's a pretty interesting package for around $16,000. The sedan in these latest spy photos will most likely mimic the hatchback in its specs and price although Suzuki looks as though it will stick with the tall greenhouse styling currently used in the Aerio four-door. I'm guessing we'll see this SX4 debut sometime early next year.

It's very hard to design such a tall sedan. They failed. ;-)

Yikes! That thing is ugly. I'm interested in the hatchback, but wouldn't touch that sedan thing. I still don't understand the desire for sedans.

This is what a child would draw when he doodled in first grade.

Looks rather like an Echo to me. Maybe Toyota sold them the tooling?

I like the hatchback but the sedan looks odd. I understand why they are building it though. Many Americans like sedans for some odd reason. They will buy huge SUV's but the same styling is looked down on if it sets close to the road.
