Honda has just announced that it will build a small jet appropriately called the HondaJet. Honda has been investigating for some time, the possibility of entering the aviation field. The announcement to commercialize HondaJet comes one year after the plane made its world public debut at EAA AirVenture 2005 in Oshkosh, Wis.

Neat, but I wonder if all this peripheral stuff (like Asimo) distracts them from their primary goal of making great cars?
