This coming Los Angeles Auto Show has new dates. Press days will be Nov. 29 and 30, 2006; with public days being Dec.1 â 10. This is good new for this show, which in the past has been overshadowed by the Detroit show, which was held almost within the same timeframe, about a week apart in January...
Snippet: With the change of dates, the LA Auto Show becomes a significantly more important venue for the industry. Considerably more journalists are expected to attend this year because of increased debuts of production and concept vehicles, resulting in greater national and international media exposure.

Much better timing. They will have pretty much ALL the 07 production models by then and maybe even a first peek at some 08s. This will allow them to grow and thrive.

I agree. Rumor has it that because of these new dates, there's going to be an increase in new concept cars. It's about time, since all of the car companies have design studios in LA.

Who wouldn't prefer LA in December to Detroit in January?
