Yaris is too stripped in its base form, and the center gauge pod is irritating. Nissan fixed this in the Quest van, so it's hard to believe Toyota failed to even with this new model.
 
The Versa seems roomy and versatile, and a 6 speed manual is standard, though they tested a CVT. That and Bluetooth make it compelling.
 
I have to drive these little guys. We need something bigger, but they sure make me curious. Too bad they weren't around when I was in college.
