Global Auto Index reports that the Chery V5 recently debuted at the Hangzhou Motor Show in China, and will eventually make its way to the United States.
Snippet: V525 is the first member of the V5 family, powered by a 2350 cc locally-sourced Mitsubishi engine, capable of 95 kW @ 5500 rpm and 198 Nm @ 3000 rpm.

Profile reminds me of the euro Accord wagon. A little taller, but looks very much like it.
I hope they get quality up to par before they come here, I'd hate to see another Excel or Yugo fiasco.

Doubt it will do well, most people dont trust newly introduced foreign brands. Untested quality and reliability, and it will probably be down on power too.
