2006 Hondapolis 500, er... Indianapolis 500

Every car in this year's Indianapolis 500 was powered by a Honda engine. Also, it is believed that this was the first Indy race ever in which there wasn't one engine failure. Amazing.

It kinda makes you wonder if Honda purposely engineered the engines more for reliability rather than power, knowing full well that regardless of how the engines were tuned, a Honda-powered racer would win...

A 100% Honda-powered field and 100% no engine failure rate sounds like a perfect win-win (marketing) scenario for Honda if you ask me.

Sound more like a sad commentary on the nature of racing these days....

Yeah, I too wish there were more different engines involved.

I couldn't believe how easily Hornish Jr. pulled to pass on that last lap. Hard to believe the engines (his and Andretti Jr's) were related at all.
