Need a little more room to stretch out in your 5 Series? BMW will have the answer soon if our latest spy photo is any indication. This prototype caught in Germany looks to have a slightly longer set of rear doors indicating a few extra inches of room have been cut out for the rear seat. Don't expect to see it in the States anytime soon, however, as these cars are typically built to satisfy customers in the Chinese and Middle Eastern markets.

This would *kill* the 7 series here. They'd be better off if people here didn't even know about it. Better styling, performance, and similar room for a lot less money.

More legroom for the CHINESE and the MIDDLE EAST!?! Hello? It's needed more so here in the USA!!! BMW, please get a clue... I'm sure all of those 6 ft. + Chinese people need it. Oh, wait, silly me, there's not THAT many 6 ft. + Chinese people (i know there's over a billion people there but for the most part, most are not over 6 ft. tall; unless you're northern Chinese)... at least not ones who can afford it (do you know how much a 5-series costs in China!?!)... unless you're part of the Chinese national basketball team... and have a salary like Yao Ming...
