Ford to delay launch of redesigned Super Duty truck

Ford originally planed to introduce their new redesigned Super Duty pickup this fall, but has pushed back the date until January. Ford is concerned about some quality issues, and wants to make sure it is right before they turn it loose on the public.

Snippet:  "The timing was altered by a couple of months in order to make sure we can deliver very high quality," Ford spokeswoman Sara Tatchio said on Thursday.

The redesigned F-Series truck, which has long ranked as the best-selling vehicle in the United States, will now be introduced as a 2008 model-year vehicle...
Previously it was to be launched as a 2007 model-year pickup truck.
