In a rather strange turn of events, car dealers are now actively seeking out warranty work. it never used to be this way, as warranty work was always difficult to make money on. Well apparently that's no longer the case.

Sad to see dealers resorting to these bait-and-switch tactics. Come in for a "Recall" that doesn't even exist, have your car service since you're already there.

It's a free chance for them to "inspect" your car, and uncover nonsymptomatic problems that your car is having, and "preventively" fix your car for you at a charge $.
Whoa deja vu the world of human medicine. It's good will, but it costs money that might not be necessary to spend.
