Around the world in 35 tanks (or less) of fuel



John and Helen Taylor are traveling around the world, hoping to use 35 tanks or less of fuel in pursuit of the Guinness World Record for fuel efficency. They will circumnavigate the globe in a standard VW, across 18,000 miles and 25 countries, using as little gasoline as possible.

I'd like to see someone use an amphibious car and really complete the entire trip. :o)

Why not diesel? It would be easier.
