Washington DC auto show

The Washington, DC car show, in my opinion, has always been a disappointment. Historically it has always occurred right after Christmas, but before either the LA or Detroit car show. It was really the last show of the previous auto show season—meaning very little new was to be displayed. I've gone every year, and each time I go I ask myself: "This is best our nation's capital can do?" Even the Baltimore show, which is held in February has always been significantly better than the DC show...
This year the DC show has been moved to the later part of January—after the LA and Detroit car shows. The advantage here is there is now a better chance of seeing some truly new vehicles; vehicles that have been just been announced at those two premier car shows (LA and Detroit).

And that's exactly what is happening; GM will be showing the 2007 Cadillac Escalade, Buick Enclave concept, Saturn Vue Green Line, and the 2007 Chevy Aveo. I expect to see more recently unveiled vehicles from other carmakers too.
