As we all know, GM is banking heavily that the all-new full-size SUVs
(and pickups), that are just about to hit the market, will be a big step in reversing their corporate sales slide. My gut feeling: Maybe, maybe not.
Frankly, I think the new SUVs are very handsome. In fact they're the best looking full-size SUVs ever from GM...
If I were in the market for a full-size SUV, one of the "must-haves" for me is a split 3rd-row seat that folds flat into the floor. The new SWB Tahoe, et al, can't do that. I'm not sure about the Suburban. As of this post date I haven't seen any pictures of the 3rd-row seat folded. My suspicion, is that it can't, otherwise I'm sure GM would be touting that feature.
Oh well, good try GM. I wish you well with these new trucks, as god knows you need it; but for me, it's close but no cigar. As far as I'm concerned you guys are still playing catch-up, and have yet to jump to the head of the class.
