DaimlerChrysler to cut 6,000 jobs

A day after Ford Motor Co., the second biggest U.S. automaker said it was cutting up to 30,000 jobs and closing 14 facilities, DaimlerChrysler announced that it too would be cutting jobs. 6,000 administrative jobs worldwide will be eliminated over the next three years. As with the cuts at GM and Ford, this is being done to make and keep DC competitive in the world market...
