They had just gotten two in, and the hadn't yet been PDIed, so I couldn't drive them. In fact I didn't even get a chance to sit in one. Having said that, there's no question the new Tahoe has plenty of sex appeal...
In person it really is one handsome SUV. I've always thought the outgoing full-size Chevrolet SUVs and pickups looked "old" the day they were introduced. Now, with the '07 model sitting next to them, they look positively "ancient."
While I (and some other Edmunds.com editors) have commented that it may be too little, too late, I do think for current owners of GM SUVs, these will keep them in the GM fold. The question is: Will it bring (many!) new conquest sales? Time will tell...
