Mercedes to debut GL-Class at Detroit car show

Think of the new Mercedes-Benz GL-Class as sort of a super-sized, industrial-strength ML-Class SUV. To be honest, this is what I was hoping the ML would have been in the first place, in that it comes with an off-road package with a low range. The new SUV will debut in Detroit at the NAIAS in January.

Should be interesting how this will stack up against the Range Rover and other mega-priced SUVs...

So the GL-AMG will be the GLAM G? :P

Price would probably scare me away from this, I wish they'd stop retreating up market. Where's the B class we can actually afford?
