, which was recently shown at the Australian International Motor Show at Sydney. Since Holden is owned by GM, the Efijy (effigy - n. a stylistic representation of someone or something famous) strongly suggests GM products a half century back, but with a down-under
slant...
As with many Australian cars, there's a lot of sharing with their North American cousins. In this case it's built off a stretched Corvette C5 chassis, using a supercharged LS2 6.0 engine.
It might be fun to try and find stylistic links to the past. Besides the 50's-era Holden FJ, I also see a hint of "Buick" in the grille. In profile, I see a lot of the '46 Cadillac Series 62 2-door Club Coupe.

I frankly think ateixeirira is wrong it looks cool because, it shows today that holden and others still care for 50's iron.
