Can you really get a Mustang convertible for under $25 grand?
I would have put the Solistice or the Miata in that position.

Oh crap, only 1 gm entry? You guys must love hate mails telling you how you bring down gm, destroy this country, in the pockets of "foreigners".....
Can you get a mazda 3 under $15K? "i" model with crank windows?
The under $25k charger has the 2,7 mill? I would take a accord v6 with stick, I know you folks like rwd. I wish there is a under $20k rwd sedan/coupe available.

You can't get a V8 Mustang for under 25K. It's fairly obvious that the V8 would be the preferred car but that would disqualify it from the price range. Same thing for the Mazda 3, you can't get the trim they obviously like for the price range they crammed it into, and then again with the Charger. What gives Edmunds? You should know better, I'm just going to call it stupidity, rather than question your ethics.

Typical! Nothing but a bunch of imports. Where is the XLR? They even picked import trucks over domestic.... What a joke!

I can't stand American engineering. Driving an American car is such a chore... even driving my 1999 VW Passat STATIONWAGON at 100 mph+ is preferrable over driving most American cars (I'll admit I've never griven a GT). Anywho without the needless spam: The imports deserve it.
Fruit For Thought: What about a "secondary" Edmunds Editor's Choice list??
A list of all categories above with the exception of the limit that states that the cars have to be brand new. Coupe under $25,000 - I'd put a prestine RX-7 no doubt.
