Yesterday Scott dropped our 2012 Audi A8L off for service. Now I know why. Audi of Santa Monica has an approach I haven't seen at other dealerships.
See this young lady at the valet booth? She greets every customer at their door and escorts them to a service advisor who is waiting in a warm office about 10 steps away. Then it's back to her post to resume texting. Maybe Words With Friends? Anyway, I watched her do it four times while waiting for a porter to pull out in our A8. That's her job.
I'm sure there is a caption contest in here someplace, but I'll leave that to you...
Oh, and you might want to hear about the service too. This first service was complimentary. In addition to the oil change there was a TCM software update and a rearview camera module update. Neither were problems we'd experienced so far.

A nice service I'm sure, as long as you don't see this lady too often.

So Santa Monica Audi is in the pimping business now? I can understand dealers using pretty receptionists, most of the luxury make dealerships do that anyways... But having one dress up like a cheap streetwalker? Come on Audi!
"Then it's back to her post to resume texting."
I wonder what she was texting about, I bet you it wasn't Words With Friends...

She looks to be put together well. I approve.

It's LA-LA Land. She is just doing this until her acting/modeling career takes off. I can tell you that my local Audi dealer in north Jersey doesn't do this. Besides she would have to be wearing a full Carhart suit today. Kind of defeats the purpose.

@louiswei -
Ha! not a damn chance it's words with friends...maybe minesweeper.

I agree with louis to an extent. While I can certainly appreciate the aesthetic here (and appreciate it some more, and then a little more after that), as a business owner that particular outfit would have to be verboten for an employee.
I'm sure a good number of Audi owners are women, and I'll bet a lot of them wouldn't appreciate this particular look, and I'd be willing to bet there are a lot of older conservative men who might disapprove as well. Simply put, an outfit like that risks turning off at least as many people as it turns on and as a luxury car dealership, you don't want your employees to be polarizing IMO.

I have to agree; I mean in LA isn't EVERYONE working a temporary job while they wait for their big break?

At Audi, only the sweetest Alcantara meets your bottom.
And I thought Audis were know for their interior beauty.
Audi has a leg up on service.
Now THAT's a seat warmer.

Reminds me of when I went to an Acura dealership's service/parts department to pick up some parts (swaybars from the TL type S for my Accord).
EVERY service advisor was a early-20s hottie...and this is Texas so I mean HOT. Dressed to the 9s, exotic-looking brunettes every one.
I wonder if hot girls are a common theme at other luxury car dealerships?
explorerx4 says:

@orbit09, The best looking ones are usually a close friend of the dealer owner.
