JLo (my future ex-wife) just went through a terrible divorce. So she has celebrated her independence by making a Fiat 500 commercial.
Why would mega-wealthy JLo need to resort to such a thing? Remember: Marc Anthony is taking half -- of everything.

I posted this before, but I am still upset about this. I wanted to consider this car, but now I can't. Yes, it's irrational, but it's sort of like Seinfeld not being able to kiss his girlfriend after knowing she brushed her teeth with a toothbrush that fell in the toilet. I just can't see it now, without thinking of her and her dumb shorts.

I agree with maastrichtian. This is not the way to advertise a car that is already in danger of being pigeon holed as a "girl's car". I guess that is what they want, but it really turns me off.

I've heard that Jennifer Lopez was picked because the sides of the 500, when viewed from the front or back, resembled J.Lo's huge butt when viewed from the front or back as well.
It's why the color of her shorts match the color of the car. In fact I think her butt weighs about the same as a fully loaded 500 come to think of it.
