Our long term Outlander GT has grown on me quite a bit. I'm usually not into SUV's, but this has enough of the Evo blood mixed in to make it pretty enjoyable to me. Much like Donna's blog about our TSX wagon, here are the top 10 things I like about our Outlander:
1. Paddle shifters!!!!
2. It's got sauce
3. Truck-like tailgate
4. Blue Tooth streaming audio
5. Sporty suspension and taut ride
6. Seat heaters (yes, truly like Donna)
7. Flip up rear seats for a flat cargo area
8. Keyless ignition
9. Simple to use dial controlled HVAC system
10. Touch screen Nav

What does #2 mean, its got sauce? It got stained all over the seats? Did a bird pop on the car? There is ketsup in the glovebox compartment?
I don't know what sauce it has but it's got no fire in the belly with that engine.
And I am sure its a lot of fun to have stiff sport suspension on a slow slow car. You just need to be patient going uphill and then its like a rollercoster, just avoid the brakes and the car gets some serious speed!

It does seem to be a nice truck....not sold on the lt reliability however. I think one of the neatest things is the tailgate.

Sure you are not confused with the Otlander Sport? The GT has a nice V6.

Edmunds seems to like the Outlook Sport. The more and more I read about it, the more I like it.
Curious how the dealer experience is these days...

I was really excited about the outlander sport until I found out that it wasn't going to be offered in AWD with a manual. You'd think that the people in charge of choosing the trim levels would understand that when someone is getting the top of the line model they MIGHT just be picky enough to want to choose their transmission configuration.
For people like myself who need AWD and want a manual, there are very few choices left with enough clearance not to get stuck going into my driveway every time there is a foot of snow on the ground.

It's got a 3.0 liter V6, which isn't bad for this CRV.

Things you forgot to mention: the S-AWC system from the EVO
Things Mitsubishi forgot to offer: A Manual Transmission
