WTF? All I heard were more or less a bunch of random numbers.

Disclaimer:I don't own or use a Bluetooth device so I don't know the details.

It's not random numbers..It's saying X "for" mobile device X...pretty confusing though I must admit.

It's not random. It's naming the stored list of Bluetooth devices (Bluetooth device (pairing code)). It wants you to say the name you gave that device or the number it was synced with.
