2009 Ford Flex Limited: Time To Say Goodbye

2009_ford_flex_wrap.jpg

We're finally getting around to wrapping up our long-term Ford Flex. It served us well. It's been everywhere and was enjoyed by all.

Read the wrap-up of our 2009 Ford Flex on Inside Line. The photo gallery is particularly interesting, a visual history of this functional and funky vehicle.

Now how about getting a 2011 Ecoboost model to see how they compare. Always liked reading abbout the Flex as it was a very different everyday family vehicle that actually stands out from the crowd!

This was the second trouble free Ford after the Focus they had. The long term Fords have been really, really good the past few years. The Fusion had a bad battery and the Mustang had the bad fuel sending unit..the Edge was a mystery machine in that we never heard much about it. But overall the Fords in the fleet were about the best for reliability they have ever had. All cars have problems and all cars need to go back to the dealer once in a while but the Fords simply have had less trips than any other brand in the IL fleet. They are proving car by car that they are competitive in reliability with ANY make in the world. IL Fleet, JD Power and CR all back that up.

I'm with eidolways and relyt. I thought this thing was already gone.

We sold it a while ago, just never got around to writing the final article. -- Donna
