You bet it does. There's something to be said for the ease with which tall wagon/crossover-type vehicles such as the Honda Crosstour swallow all kinds of cargo, including bicycles. Definitely makes it less daunting when you're loading up the car to meet the guys for that chilly, 77-degree January mountain bike ride.

I also think that hatchbacks are far more useful and wish there were more to choose from in the US. I guess sporty hatches like the original VW Rabbit way back when really was the first Sport Utility Vehicle. Think about it.

I also dig the versatility of a hatchback - though I need to take the from wheel off of my road bike to fit it in my JSW TDI.
Got a chuckle out of "Chilly - 77 degree ride" Here in the Northeast we were thrilled for a balmy 42 degrees for a New Years ride!

What's behind that panel on the passenger side rear wheelwell? Speaker or something else?

We also have a chilly, January morning in Montreal: -6.0 F, before windchill. Yet, some people still bike to work.

Bike transporting tip:
Shift the front gear so the chain is on the biggest chainring. That way you don't have those sharp exposed to rip up interiors - and shins.

My 08 sedan Accord fits a mountain bike in the trunk if I drop the backseat and remove the from wheel of the bike. The only difference is that my car looks better than this piece of @#$. Go Venza!

I've had an 08 EX V6 Nav sedan AND an EX-L 4WD Nav Crosstour. I'd rather drive the Crosstour. Wonder what a poll of others in the same situation would indicate?

@hoosiergrandad:
1) is the Crosstour V6 too?
2) "I'd rather drive the Crosstour" -Why?!?!? is it the elevated pseudo-SUV high seating? Is it quiter than the sedan on the highway? Faster? What? :0

I'm in the right demographic ... young Grandkids w/ junk. All CT's are V6's. It's better in snow,quieter,and I do prefer the higher seat ,now that I've had it a while..didn't at first.In general, it's a better road cruiser... IMO only. If you were in and out of tight parking lots all day , you probably would cuss the turning radius.
