Our Terrain has four power ports: one for the center stack, one in the center console, one for the rear seating area and one for the cargo area. One can never have too many power ports, right? But having one for the rear seat is pretty rare. And I suppose it's actually fairly useful for families as it makes it a lot easier to power or charge electronics for kids seated in back. No rear air vents for the Terrain, though.

I have this on my Outlook as well and it is very useful. Especially for plug-in coolers, air pumps, etc. Great feature.

Our '07 Santa Fe GLS has power ports in the 4 aforementioned areas as the GMC.

Vents would make so much more sense. Even my 95 Escort had under the seat heater ducts.
With that being said, I hope every single poster on here has something to be thankful for this year and has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

banhugh & half_ton: These cars endure a year long test with multiple families. Gauging a car on how good it looks shined up and seeing how long you can maintain its showroom-like clean is not a telling test on the capabilities of a vehicle.
This car is meant to be lived in, and having a wide range of testers (some with families, some without) is a through examination of how a vehicle stands up to use.
If this REALLY bothers you, I'm sure the editors would enjoy you stopping by and cleaning and shining to your hearts content to satisfy your OCD. You might get a free glass of lemonade for your work!

I don't know if your post was intended to be sarcastic, humorous or both but it's the holidays so I'll limit my comment to the vehicle itself.
I agree that having multiple families/users gives a test vehicle more crediibility in terms of real world use but IL is known to be "hard" on the cars in their fleet. This pic and mnay more before it confirm this. My earlier comment was merely pointing out that pattern has continued with this vehicle; nothing more nothing less.

My 05 CTS-V has a power port at the back of the rear console, and it's not an "activity vehicle." I'm glad because the one in the front is too close to the shifter for my cell phone charger. It fits but I feel like it is too close so rather than worry about it I just use the rear one.

Half_ton: I was being sarcastic. Instead of lemonade, I'll offer you a cup of the hot mulled cider (allspice, cloves, and cinnamon) I'm making for my family tomorrow.
Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

@altimadude05:
Due to the holidays I will restrain from a proper response to your sarcasm. Enjoy your vacation and holidays with your family

There are floor register heater ducts under the front seats for rear passengers. No AC vents though back there.
