Kudos to the Ford Focus owner on applying a license plate.

Hooray for LONG BEACH, thank you very much. They film 90% of the location shots for Dexter in and around LBC. Especially, in the park here.

The show is supposed to be set in Miami.
I live in South Florida and always laugh when I see the cars on the show with front license plates. Florida only requires a rear plate.
The rest of the shots do a fairly convincing job of making it look like South Florida. There haven't been any obvious errors, like showing mountains or having hills. LOL

"I live in South Florida and always laugh when I see the cars on the show with front license plates. Florida only requires a rear plate."
It's the same with The Office. It's supposed to be in Scranton, PA (Pennsylvania requires rear plates only), and all the cars in the background have fornt plates.
Not to mention the landscape is all screwed up. Since when has Scranton had desert-like mountains?
