On this chilly morning, I was SO appreciative to see this in our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse. OK, even if it wasn't chilly, I'd still be happy to see the seat heaters for both bottom cushion and the back. Oh, happy day. This worked so well. Heated up quickly and the highest setting wasn't scorching but nice and toasty so I didn't have to switch out of it.
Bonus is since it's supposed to be hot this weekend, schizo weather, it's nice to know that our Traverse offers cool relief for the posterior as well.

Wow A/C seats? I didn't know this option had moved this far down market. It was quite exotic not that many years ago.

Should have got the cloth seats. Wouldn't have to waste gasoline heating and cooling them. .. (yes the energy has to come from somewhere).
I hear they are more comfortable too....

Yeah, kind of like power windows back in the day, cooled leather seats are becoming pretty widely adopted .
I just read the 2011 Kia Optima will come with cooled seats. Wow, 274hp turbo 4cylinder engine, 30mpg, HID lights, GPS nav, heated/cooled seats for ~$30k. If I ever had to get a fwd family sedan, that would be my pick .
I detest the sweaty back I almost always get in my 335i driving during the summer... I remember how nice the Lexus IS350's cooled seats were during the test drives a couple years back.
Now if I could only have my cake and eat it too... aka for the next gen BMW 335i, keep the driving dynamics intact, plus increase the reliability (fuel pumps, cough cough), and open up more options like nappa leather, cooled seats, and Heads up display.
