2010 Suzuki Kizashi GTS: A Takizashi Shooting Spree

Takizashi_01.jpg

By now you know we're fans of our long-term Kizashi. Nearly all who have driven it have commented on how pleasant and surprisingly refined it is. I'm on board with pretty much everything that's been posted, so I thought I'd just take some pictures rather than rehash what's already been said.

What a nice family car, donchathink? White picket fence, school sign in the background, quiet neighborhood. This is the Kizashi in its natural surroundings.

Gotta love Beverly Hills. Only here is a bright yellow Ford GT commonplace.

This shot shows some promise. I think I'll try again one of these days, but I'll need to lock the focus, drive slower and in the right lane.

Holy smokes! Between that last pic and Donna's "Self-portrait in Chrome" (see the Flex post concerning the missing interior trim piece) there's some natural photographic talent percolatin' in that office. :)

I have seen ONE Ford GT ever. I would love to be somewhere they are commonplace.

Nice pics, Mark! There are a few Ford GTs floating around the La Jolla area too. Back when I was young and single, I used to love hanging out Prospect St. on weekend nights, watching the fancy cars cruise by.

Mark, great pictures, I just test drove the Kizashi last weekend, the SE, with the CVT. I was leaning towards the Manual but Atlanta traffic is not pleasing. I immediately fell in love, even with the CVT the Kizashi was beyond all my expectations, I am purchasing one as soon as I can. Great car in general, Suzuki has something great too bad not many are willing to check it out.

@fuhtung: And the Ford GT driver is saying: "Wow, that's the first Kizashi I've seen on the road!"

In the photo of the Kizashi and the picket fence it doesn't look so much like a Jetta. Maybe it looks like a Kizashi in the real world and a Jetta at the Auto Show.

Odd thing is, at the auto show, a Jetta looks like a Jetta. Everywhere else it looks like a previous gen Corolla. :)

This is a great post. I’m glad it was bumped. Otherwise I would’ve missed these very useful information.

I saw my first Ford GT in years yesterday! How ironic that I see one in a picture this morning too?

Hard to check out the Kizashi when Suzuki has so few dealers around. This is even worse if you need to get something fixed.
