Our 2010 Volvo XC60 might not be dirt-proof, but with its Terra Bronze Metallic paint, you hardly notice a speck of road grime.
The dark windows, however, are another matter. Every dried drip shows on the outside of the glass. An especially stark contrast against the ever-clean body.

I just got a dark gray Altima SE-R a few weeks ago and oh my does that thing show water spots like crazy! Even after a wash, dust collects on the car immediately. It really is a pain. I should have picked the silver but the gray was the only one in my area with a MT. Now i literally carry a towel in my car to wipe off of the dust every other day or so. The pains of looking good! :p

My Subaru Legacy is Deep Bronze Metallic which is a similar color and be happy you guys aren't in an area that snows a lot because during the winter the color is impossible to keep clean because it shows every speck of salt and sand you can imagine! So while i love the color the winters kill me!

It looks like the Volvo is turning out to be an amiable companion. It shore is a beauty! But I can't afford it. My Outback is amiable and affordable.

Speaking of windows. We've been getting a ton of rain in so cal. To go with that we have an unseemly number of CUV/SUV/crossovers/minivans on the road. When it's raining I almost never see anyone use the rear windshield wiper. Why don't they?

To keep your car looking clean:
1) Buy dirt-colored car.
Haha, brown wouldn't be my first color choice, but it does seem to have its advantages...
