I dont if I should be flattered or disturbed about BMW fanboys making up captions involving by screen name. I assure you I never give much thought to e90-M3 whether I'm online or off. The fact that he is thinking about me so much is a little unsettling.

Considering the boy in the pic is about 10 its really not that funny. But I guess you feel like he scored some cool points at my expense high school cafeteria style. Nothing worse than the sidekick who jumps in to offer kudos to the class clown.

Sorry 1487, but your undivided dedication to all things GM does make your name come to mind whenever a GM car comes up in the caption contest.
Other coming-of-age rituals came to mind, but Bar Mitzvah just doesn't have the same numeric flow as Sweet 16.
No intention to suggest you're a girl... actually I have no clue whether you are. :)

I think you need to find a sense of humor and not be so worried about judging people as BMW fanboy-this or import fanboy-that. It's particularly humorous that out of the 160+ entries in the caption contest your name was used at least 3 separate times by 3 different users. Add to that the editors found it funny enough to put in their top 15. I can't imagine why you'd find it unsettling, your history here has more than demonstrated that you don't care what others think of you.

Hey guys, tone the humor down. This is serious business.

Besides, the little tyke doesn't even drive like 1487- note that the kid is holding the wheel with his hands at ten and two.

Looks like one of those semi slow kids that got to sit around in computer labs adding 2 + 2 while I was trying to figure out what the hell 2x=6 meant

@roadburner,
"Besides, the little tyke doesn't even drive like 1487- note that the kid is holding the wheel with his hands at ten and two."
...which CLEARLY proves that it's not just terrified soccer moms that hold the wheel with two hands, elementary school children obviously do as well.

Thats mostly in your head. Since you can read I know you know that I've never suggested any "undivided dedication to all things GM"- but you seem MUCH cooler when you pretend otherwise. The S5, 335i, XF, G37, etc. are amongst my favorite cars and off the top of my head I can name at least half dozen GM products (canyon, Cobalt, Aveo, HHR, Silverado, DTS) I wouldnt buy.

Have a great sesne of humor- but it helps when stuff is funny. See if that makes sense to you. the fact that 3 separate individuals used my name isnt really "humorous" but it is sad and a little bit puzzling. I don't ever get to urge to use any of your names at any time, ever. If I'm not posting on here I really don't think about you at all. I try not to even think about you when I have to clear up some misinformation you've posted.
"Besides, the little tyke doesn't even drive like 1487- note that the kid is holding the wheel with his hands at ten and two."
Finally you say someting that makes sense. I agree 100%. And I also use my mirrors to check for oncoming traffic instead of turning my head and then complaining about the size of the C pillars on my car. Imagine that.
"I can't imagine why you'd find it unsettling, your history here has more than demonstrated that you don't care what others think of you."
Correction, I don't care what the unprincipled opposition thinks of me. I do hope to be respected by logical people here.

You've got it backwards; I think he was the one being terrified- by the soccer moms.

I misspoke; here's the ooriginal quote:
"To be honest I cringe when I see anyone other than a soccer mom with two hands on the wheel in slow traffic. I get nervous around people like that."
