Below are the fuel economy numbers for December 2009. We've listed the best, worst and overall average tanks.
As usual, a couple of cars are out on the road or unavailable at the time of this writing. I'll continue to add them as they come in and let you know in the comments.

So how about the Edge, Prius, and RX400h? It's the new year, we deserve to know.

I'm soooo jealous of whoever got 9.4 mpg in the Camaro SS!

subaru123, keep asking those kinds of questions and some men in black suits are going pay you a visit.

I sent Scott a zillion e mails until he replied....the first reply simply asked why I wanted to know about the Edge.....the second simply thanked me for reading the blog......they wont say anything about the Edge.......I really dont get it.

I'll echo subaru123, I'm curious how these (edge, prius, rx400h) vehicles are doing, what their MPGs are, and where the hell they've been for the last year.

Total list average sure has gone down since the two diesel Jettas and the smart were sold.

So lifetime average of this bunch is a somewhat meager 21.5mpg. Ok, this list is pretty heavy in performance machines, but some smaller, greener stuff is in there, too. My '03 Mazda 6s has a lifetime average of 22.8mpg and I drive the hell out of it. Regularly. My car would be better if it had either a taller 5th gear or a 6th gear as it revs way too high at highway speeds, but I've always done better than the sticker suggested. Your new 6i is getting 23.9. Pretty good, I guess for the monster this car has evolved into at the cost of being only a 4 cylinder model. Oh, well.

The car gnomes must have gotten the Edge, Prius, and RX400h. It's the only plausible explanation. I guess driving an economy car skews my idea of gas mileage, but it seems the LT fleet is full of "okay" fuel economy cars, and then a couple good ones. 23.9 to 31.0 seems like a big jump.

i am also jealous with the 9.4mpg. Lowest i have gotten in mine is 11.6mpg and i was having a lot of fun.

For at least the third time, including 2 months in a row, the G8 is a 2008 not 2009. Looks like you have a bad spreadsheet entry or a bad copy/paste job from the previous incorrect report
